About the ICG

In today's complex world, consultants with director-level expertise in the market sectors that you need, are often hard to find. Different from an agency, the ICG offers direct access to these consultants on a flexible, outsourced basis.

Originally part of the Market Research Society, the ICG has been independent since 2002. Membership is open to market researchers and those in related fields, working solo or with up to two others. Currently, there are over 300 members and membership has been growing steadily year on year.

Most ICG members are based in the United Kingdom but many conduct research globally and can offer perspectives on how market research is affected by cultural issues and language barriers.
