ICG Summer Party

Summer Party – Jamies in Charlotte Street on Tuesday July 1st

Another successful summer party was staged on Tuesday 1st July when 35 Indies got together to celebrate. On arrival everyone was asked to design their own name badge, a tip we had picked up from attending the course in May that Caroline Pakel Dunlop ran - it was the first time we had put it into action and everyone seemed to enjoy creating one!

There were some new Indies who were keen to put some faces to names they had seen on the e-group and they were made very welcome. Many had travelled from out of town from far flung places like Norwich, Brighton and Staffs. Tracey White met Penny Meigh – Tracey had worked for Penny in her first job but neither recognised the other from names on the e-group (now using their married names), they just realised when they met at the party!! There were also some long standing members who enjoy all the parties that ICG put on!!Whilst some party games were planned in order to break the ice we didn’t get round to playing any of them as everyone was busy exchanging views, enjoying the good food and wine. From the thank you notes received all were looking forward to the next party.
