Can you access the archive of egroup messages?

Half of egroup members do not have access to the archive of past egroup messages, or the ability to change the email address used, or the frequency with which messages are received (individually or in a daily digest, or temporarily switch messages off). This is because in the early years of the egroup, experience proved that the only way to ensure that all ICG members joined the egroup was for me, as moderator, to register all the backlog of non-member folk, and thence every new member as s/he joins.

This makes it very simple for new members to belong, since it's done for them. However when the moderator registers someone, no Yahoo ID or password is involved - and that means the member cannot access the archive or edit the membership arrangements.

From time to time, posts on the egroup have reminded members of their ability to rectify this. Some members have done so: a few months ago 70% of egroup members did not have access to the archive; now it’s down to 52%.

If you can’t currently access the archive but would like to do so, email the egroup moderator at guy@consterdine.com and he will send a website link to you which will enable you to do this as easily as possible.
