ICG appoints new PR consultancy

9th April 2009

The ICG Committee has appointed Red Wave Communications as our new PR agency, effective 1st April 2009. The two individuals who run the company are Kate Allan (ex-Ciao) and Ian Cundell (ex-The Times). Both are published writers as well as PR consultants. Kate Allan has worked in the research industry, and will be the ICG's main contact.

Red Wave is a young company, run in the ethos of the ICG - two individuals working with their own clients but sharing their knowledge, strengths and skills across each others' clients. We feel they bring fresh ideas - new media and otherwise - as well as energy and enthusiasm to ICG PR. They also have the requisite writing skills to put together a synopsis or edit our articles or even train members on writing skills.

This year ICG PR will emphasize the knowledge, skills and value for money benefits of using ICG members. With a view to making ICG more contemporary we will bolster our new media presence and aim to be in the news more often.
