Evening Event & AGM

8th September 2008

Society of Chemical Industry. 15 Belgrave Square London SW1

ICG TALK

We are delighted to have Michael Parker as our speaker.

Michael has had a long and successful career in advertising, the last 20 years at Saatchi and Saatchi in London where he set up Team Saatchi, a separate creative agency with a strong new business track record. Over his career he estimates that he has taken part in, or led or coached over 600 pitches. Many successful, many not but learning from both!

He has recently set up his own blog www.pitchcoach.co.uk To quote from that......
‘Everyday we are pitching or being pitched to. At home, at work, at play. To our kids for peace and quiet, to our employers for raises, to customers for their business, from media for our attention, from politicians for our approval...

He will be providing us with anecdotes from his career but at the same time giving us valuable tips on how to make our pitches/credentials meetings more enjoyable and rewarding!

We'll also have the AGM at the same time.

Date: Monday 8th September. Wine and nibbles from 6pm. AGM starts at 6:30pm, followed by Michael. Entry cost is £15 to ICG members to cover the wine etc./ £20 to non-members payable in cash on the door.

Venue is the SCI (Society of Chemical Industry) 15 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PS in the Council Room. Tube: Hyde Park Corner, Exit 5.
